QRV is a designation given to a select group of franchises who meet specific certifications and criteria yearly and maintain the status of Quality Restoration Vendor (QRV). This designation was established by ServiceMaster Corporate as giving superior and consistent disaster mitigation services based upon rigid requirements in competency, integrity, training, equipment, insurance, professionalism and environmental stewardship.
Some of the main standards are listed below:

IICRC, other Associations
IICRC, The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification is a non-profit certifying body for the flooring inspection, floor covering and specialized fabric cleaning, and disaster restoration industry. Its primary mission is to set standards within the cleaning, inspection, and restoration industry and promote ethics, communication and technical proficiency. Companies and employees who have undergone training and seminars with the IICRC are respected by their customers and industry peers. They receive training in the newest techniques and information on the latest products. When consumers are informed that they have hired companies or employees who have undergone training with the IICRC, they can be assured that they have hired experts who will ensure that services will be completed in accordance with the industry's highest standards.
ServiceMaster by Disaster Professionals carries several IICRC certifications, including Certified Firm, Advanced Structural Drying (ASD), Mold Remediation (AMRT), Odor Control (OCT), and Fire and Smoke Remediation (FSRT).
